Our Leadership Team has been praying and fasting about the direction of ministry and worship for RUMC for the remainder of 2016 and into 2017.

Over the end of spring and into the summer delegates from our United Methodist Church will be attending conferences which make crucial decisions for our West Ohio Conference, our Foothills District, for Richland UMC, and each of us as individuals.

Please join me in a time of fasting and prayer, as the work of God's church is done.

UMC North Central Jurisdictional Conf., July 13-16, in Peoria, IL.

Summer Preaching Series

Our Summer Preaching Series begins on Pentecost. We will be spending the summer (Pentecost season) discussing the attributes of the Holy Spirit, found in the fruit (1 Corinthians 12:7-11) and gifts (Isaiah 11:1-2) of the Holy Spirit, & the power of those gifts to both draw people together, & to send them forth to spread the Word.

Seeking Jesus

“But who do you say that I am?” - Mark 8:29

It’s quite appropriate that at the end of Luke’s Gospel, he recounts the interaction Jesus had with a couple of his disciples walking along the road to Emmaus. Jesus—the Messiah—has been crucified and the disciples are stupefied, unable to piece it all together. But along comes Jesus disguised as he has been throughout the Scripture and he opens their eyes to see that the whole of Scripture is really about him:

Christian Education Opportunities

We have Sunday morning children, youth, young adult and adult classes, a Men's Study that meets Tuesday mornings, a Wednesday morning Bible study, and a Saturday morning Bible study group.
