Christian Education Opportunities

As everyone's thoughts turn to the new school year, don't forget about all of the wonderful opportunities for study at Richland.

We have Sunday morning and evening Adult Classes, a Men's Study that meets Tuesday mornings, a Wednesday afternoon study, a Thursday lunchtime interdenominational women's group and a Saturday morning ladies' group.

Schedule of Fall 2010 Classes and Bible Studies

Lift Construction Underway!

The lift construction has now been underway for a couple weeks!

While generous donations have helped with a large chunk of the project, the church opted to move ahead on faith and a little bit of credit. We still are looking for ways to help pay off the rest of the project.

See the Lift Project Page for details on our next Lift Dinner and more photos!

Emmaus Walk for Women

There will be an Emmaus Walk for Women on Sept. 9, 10, 11 and 12 at Camp Akita in Logan. If you are interested in participating, contact Phyllis Dodrill or Peete Bowen as soon as possible. Contact the church if you need contact information for Phyllis or Peete.

Saturday Morning Women's Bible Study

The Saturday morning bible study will be focusing on the book of Acts. Contact Julie Davis for more information! Contact the church office if you need contact information for Julie.

Terrific Tuesdays and Families in Service!

Special thanks to Julie, Steve and everyone else who helped make Terrific Tuesdays a wonderful time of fellowship and learning. In the words of one of our congregation, "We have been truly blessed, and the children and adults were never disappointed but always amazed!"

Families in Service was also a blessing this summer as we worked outside around the church, cleaning up in Richland Park, helping out at the parsonage, and cleaning and mulching around the Red Cross Office. The kids were real troopers and are learning that serving others can be rewarding. We'll be looking for ways to carry on this attitude of service into the Fall, so stay tuned!
