A Word from Our Pastor

Well my friends, believe it or not, it has been a year since Andy and I were asked to come to Richland, and what a year it has been!  We have felt welcomed and included not only into the church, but also the community.  Your warmth and support, as well as your prayers, have been greatly appreciated! 

It has been an amazing year. I am so encouraged by the passion and excitement here at Richland!  There are members of the church integrally involved in the church, but more importantly, the community.  The ministry that you do in the name of the Lord, to the community of Athens, is a true blessing!

There are some exciting things the Lord is leading us toward in the coming year and beyond.  We are in the midst of some team building, strategic planning, visioning and growth. All of it warms my heart, but just think of how it pleases the Lord to know that you are actively working toward making Richland the best church it can be.  God is good!

So, for now, hold onto your seat.  We do not know where the Lord is about to lead us, but we surely know that once we get there, it will be a true blessing!  Keep the leadership and ministries of the church in your prayers.  And, as always, do all that you can for the Lord!
